Clerk’s Office Hours

Normal Clerk hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Monday – Thursday and 7:30 – 11:30 on Friday. Payments can be made after hours in the drop box outside of the main doors of Village Hall. If you would like to receive a receipt for a tax payment, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope and the receipt will be mailed. Sorry for the inconvenience.


Clerk/Treasurer Position Opening

The Village of Fremont is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Clerk/Treasurer. Must be able to work well with the public and have good oral and written skills as well as being able to perform other Clerk/Treasurer duties as required by the State Statutes and local ordinances. Computer experience and accounting skills are required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the electors of the Village of Fremont, in the County of Waupaca, State of Wisconsin, that a Village Caucus for said village will be held at the Fremont Village Hall, 317 Wolf River Drive in said village on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 6:00 pm, to nominate candidates for the different village offices to be voted for at the Village Election to be held on the first Tuesday in April, 2018.

Notice of Public Budget Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing to consider adoption of the proposed 2018 budget of the Village of Fremont will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 6:00 pm at the Village of Fremont Hall (Gym), 317 Wolf River Drive. This hearing is open to the public. The proposed summary budgets can be viewed by clicking the links below. Budget is available in detail for inspection in the Clerk’s office at the Village Hall during normal business hours.

Immediately following the hearing and budget approval, the Village of Fremont will hold it’s regular monthly Board meeting.
